Basketball Tryouts will be on November 6, 8 and 9. Boys from 2:30-4:45 and Girls from 5:00-7. Sign up on Family ID and attach an updated physical from within a year. Students must meet requirements for academics, attendance and behavior to participate (Policy: Students 116.1).

Reminder: Elementary schools ONLY will dismiss students early this Friday at 11:15 am for parent-teacher conferences. Due to the early dismissal, there is no pre-kindergarten on Friday.
Middle and high schools will follow the usual school day schedule on Friday.


City Year and Student Council are hosting a family bingo night this Thursday from 5:00 to 6:30 at Parkside. There will be concessions, awesome prizes and more.


Parkside is thankful for our City Year team serving as tutors and mentors. They're hiring now for 2024-25. Check it out if you're 17-25 years old or share this with others you. Members get remarkable benefits, including a living stipend, scholarship, and leadership development.

Parkside is welcoming the families of all of our students to tour our building and meet our teachers. Families will be able to walk around the building, see classrooms and talk to teachers in their rooms. Please join us Thursday night from 5:30 to 6:30.


This week, Manchester School District announced we will launch our first dual-language immersion program in the fall of 2024. The Spanish-English program will start at the elementary level, with two classes of kindergarten students, and it will be open to students from across the city.
We'll be hosting a pair of informational sessions on the program – one in Spanish (at 4:30 pm) and one in English (at 5:30 pm) – next Wednesday, October 4, at Memorial High School. You can find more information on the program and the event here: https://www.mansd.org/article/1259332.

The festivities will roll out on Saturday, September 23rd, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Manchester, NH. Free transportation to and from the park will be available from the Manchester Transit Authority.

All summer long, anyone 18 and younger can get free meals through the Summer Food Service Program, provided by Southern New Hampshire Services.
